SAN ANTONIO, Texas —The University of the Incarnate Word athletic department announced Monday the signing of a multi-year corporate partnership agreement with Ancira Enterprises.
 
Ancira is now an official sponsor of UIW Athletics and its 23 NCAA Division I sports teams, effective immediately. The primary component of the relationship taps Ancira as the title sponsor for the "Ancira Cardinals Cruiser" program. This exclusivity provides Ancira naming rights for the Cardinals' community volunteerism and marketing grassroots efforts throughout the year. Additionally, Ancira will receive significant exposure through on-campus activation, dominant in-arena signage during all home contests, signature events and visibility across numerous UIW Athletics digital, radio and social media platforms.

"We are thrilled to be teaming up with UIW Athletics in such a fun and unique way, with the Ancira Cardinals Cruiser program, and we look forward to the opportunity to serve the UIW community, its student body, alumni and their family and friends."
 
In recognition of the partnership, the Ancira Cardinals Cruiser program is designed to provide athletics external affairs an opportunity to embark on its marketing grassroots, as well as serve the student-athletes in volunteering, community engagement and conducting university business. 
 
Ancira provided UIW Athletics with the use of a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon for a three-year period. The vehicle was wrapped complimentarily by TNJ Engraving, and Ranch Hand provided the bumpers and the side rails.

"Ancira has established a sterling reputation in the region through the excellent service it has provided customers for many years. We are excited about the new inventory we have created with this partnership and for the opportunities we will have in the future."
 
Ancira's partnership will kick off the athletic year with the start of football season at the first home game on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017 against rival Abilene Christian. 
 
Season tickets for Cardinals football are on sale now for $175 and include a parking pass for one of two on-site parking garages. Fans can order season tickets by calling the UIW Athletics box office at 210-805-3000.
