SAN ANTONIO– The University of the Incarnate Word baseball team will look to snap an eight-game losing streak when they host Texas Southern in a non-conference game on Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Sullivan Field.
FIRST PITCH
After winning a conference series against Central Arkansas three weeks ago, the Cardinals (13-16, 4-8 SLC) have lost single games to Texas A&M Corpus Christi and Houston and were swept by Lamar and SFA in three-game conference series.

SERIES HISTORY
These two teams have met twice before, and each one collected a win. Last year, the Tigers beat UIW 3-1, and earlier this year, the Cardinals evened the series with a 7-5 victory. Both games were at Sullivan Field.
UP NEXT
The Cardinals will go on the road to Orem, Utah, to face Utah Valley in a three-game non-conference series on Friday at 6 p.m., Saturday at 6 p.m., and Sunday at 11 a.m.
