SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The University of the Incarnate Word women's synchronized swimming team swept the competition at the Boston Invitational this past weekend, out-scoring second place finishers, Wheaton College, by 9 points.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Cardinals took first place in every category and impressively swept the figures category by placing in first through eighth place out of nine swimmers.
Camille Guerre won the solo category with 76.5750 points and her duet with
Beatriz Regly also won with 74.1250 points. The trio of Regly,
Natalia Vega, and
Sarah Rodriguez took first place with 70.5250 points and the team routine won with 70.0667 to close out the competition. UIW finished with an overall score of 95 points and competitors Wheaton College and Boston University earned 86 points and 47.5 points, respectively.
UP NEXT
UIW will compete in Regionals this weekend in Virginia along with the University of Florida and William and Mary College.
