SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word artistic swimming team had 12 student-athletes named 2023 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) All-Academic Honorees. In order to qualify student-athletes must have maintained a 3.00 GPA or better, competed in at least 50 percent of the teams' competitions, and completed a full year at their institution.
 
The list of Cardinals who were honored is made up of many talented sophomores, juniors, and seniors who not only performed in the classroom but also in the pool, helping UIW take second place at the MPSF Championships and third in the U.S. Collegiate Classic.
