Prior to the University of the Incarnate Word:
• Member of Loyola Athletic Club in Puerto Rico (2008-2014)
• Member of the Tonawanda Aquettes (2012-2014)
• Member of the Santa Clara Aquamaids (2014-2016)
• Member of the 2016 Jr. Worlds national team - Team captain
• 2016 National Champion in team and combo - duet 2nd place
• 2015 China open team and combo champions
Personal:
• Daughter of Cristina Figueroa and Rey Vega
• Two siblings - Christian Vega (plays NCAA division 1 basketball at Saint Joseph's
University) Valeria Vega (member of the Puerto Rican synchronized swimming team)
• Dad played water polo at Pan Ams in Winnipeg Canada representing Puerto Rico
• Moved to California in 2014 to join the Santa Clara Aquamaids
