Box Score HOUSTON, Texas – Southland Conference's defending tournament champions, HBU, scored twice in the first half and three more times in the second for a 5-0 conference win over The University of the Incarnate Word Friday evening from Sorrels Field.
HOW IT HAPPENED
HBU's (5-4-2 overall, 4-1-1 SLC) leading scorer, Ellee Hall, got things going for the Huskies nine minutes in, as her initial shot hit the crossbar, but the rebound went straight to the Utah native and she was not denied a second time.
Sabriah Spencer nearly made it 2-0 HBU, as her shot in the 39
th minute clanged off the crossbar. Two minutes later, the Huskies did get their second goal, as Autumn Wildung beat UIW (2-9-0, 0-5-0) netminder

HBU outshot UIW, 13-8, in the half, while the Huskies held a slim 5-4 advantage in shots on goal. 
Sam Batley took the half's lone corner kick.
UIW held the Huskies at bay in the second half before the hosts scored three times in a 15-minute span to put the game away.
LEADERS
Emily Halal led UIW with four shots, while both 
Ana Rodriguez and Batley had two shots on goal apiece. 
Addie Bachle came off the bench to play 80 minutes. 
Sydney Huntsinger took the loss as she made eight saves.
Wildung led all players with seven shots, five shots on goal, and two goals to lead the Huskies. Alanis Guevara stopped all five shots for the clean slate.
