Biography
2017 (Junior): Appeared in all 16 games with nine as a starter. She scored one goal which was against Nicholls. She had 14 total shots with six on goal. She was named to the SLC Honor Roll with a 3.82 GPA.Â
2016 (Sophomore): Appeared in all 17 matches with four starts. She took four shots. She was named to the SLC Honor Roll with a 3.77 GPA.Â
2015 (Freshman): As a freshman Halal played in 16 games and started in seven of them. She took 17 shots, scored a goal and led the team with two assist for a total of four points. Her goal was her first career goal and it was a great one. She took a shot from 25 yards out and beat the goalie to the far top corner of the net against Baylor. Halal played in nine of the 16 games for more than 50 minutes, and ended the season with a total of 704 playing minutes. Â
High School: Halal played soccer at Cinco Ranch High School. She earned first team all-district honors and was a TASCO Academic First Team All-State selection. She was a member of the National English Honor Society and Young Life.
Personal: Halal is the daughter of Afif and Kim Halal and is studying rehabilitation science. She has a brother, Andrew. She was born on June 6, 1997. Both of her parents played soccer in college. She lived in the Netherlands as a youngster and then moved to Kuwait as a freshman and sophomore in high school.
