HOUSTON, Texas – The University of the Incarnate Word women's soccer team opens a difficult three-game road stretch, as the Cardinals play at defending Southland Conference tournament champion, HBU, Friday at 7 p.m. from Sorrels Field.
OPENING KICK
HBU has won both meetings against the Cardinals, both in one-goal affairs. Last season, the Huskies came away with a 1-0 victory in San Antonio, and in 2015, HBU won at home, 3-2.

Summary: HBU is unbeaten in its last four matches (3-0-1), including a 1-0 win at rival Stephen F. Austin on Sept. 22. Ellee Hall scored two game winners during that stretch and not only was named SLC Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 26, but is second in the conference with three game-winning goals. Goalkeeper Alanis Guevara is eighth in the nation with eight saves per game and is in the top three in the conference in saves (62) and save percentage (.838).
