Conway, Ark. – UIW will look for a season-long fourth-straight win and the first away from home when the Cardinals take on Central Arkansas on Saturday, Jan. 28 at 4 p.m. from the Farris Center.
OPENING TIP
UIW leads the all-time series, 5-0. Saturday will mark the fourth time the teams have faced each other in Southland Conference play. Prior to that, the Cardinals and Bears played in the St. Edward's Classic in Austin, Texas, in back-to-back seasons in 2001-02 and 2002-03.

Jalin Hart as the Cardinals erased a four-point halftime lead for an 82-79 win over Abilene Christian Thursday night. Socks also pulled down a game-high, and career-high, nine rebounds in the win.
With his performance against the Wildcats, Socks has overtaken the team lead with 15.2 points per game - good for 8th in the SLC - followed by
Shawn Johnson and Hart with 14.7 points each, T-10th in the conference. Johnson continues to lead the team with 6.9 rebounds per game - 7th in the SLC - while
Miles Banks follows with 6.2, T-17th. Johnson is second in the SLC with a 44.0 three-point field goal percentage and averages 2.5 threes per game. Socks is 3rd in the SLC with an 84.3 free throw percentage, going 75-for-89 from the charity stripe. Hart is 2nd in the conference with 4.8 assists per game and T-2nd with a +1.9 assist/turnover ratio.
Devin Wyatt's 2.3 blocked shots per game rank him T-2nd in the SLC, good for T-28th nationally. As a team, the Cardinals are 10th in the SLC with a -3.1 scoring margin (77.3-80.4) and 11th with a -5.0 rebounding margin (33.9-38.9).
