Box Score SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The University of the Incarnate Word women's soccer team came up just short of another win in this Sunday's afternoon away game, which ended in a 0-1 loss against Northwestern State.
How It Happened
The game was deadlocked at 0-0 for the majority of the game. It was not until the 80
th minute when Lady Demon (7-5-0, 4-1 SLC) midfielder Party Carrion kicked a penalty kick and scored. Although the Cardinals (4-8-1, 2-3 SLC) took nine more shots than the Lady Demons, 19 total, it was not enough to win the game.

Haley Nelson each played 45 minutes of the game. Huntsinger had two saves and Nelson had three.
