SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS – The University of the Incarnate Word women's basketball team will play a third straight home game on Thursday night at 6 p.m. when Southland Conference rival Stephen F. Austin comes to the McDermott Center.

Aricka Adams (Round Rock/Round Rock HS) back in the lineup after missing the last five contests with an injury. Adams is averaging 14.1 points per game while shooting 42.5 percent from three-point range and 34.1 percent from three-point range. With her out of the lineup, the team averaged nearly 13 points fewer per game.
Overall, UIW is shooting 38.2 percent from the field and averaging 58.8 points per game. They have four players averaging seven or eight points per game.
Yvonne Maosa (Mansfield/Mansfield HS) scores 8.7 points per game and leads the team with 7.0 rebounds per game.
Jazmine Holman (Arlington/Arlington Bowie HS) is averaging 7.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, 4.0 assists and a conference best 2.7 steals per game.
The Lady Jacks (15-6, 8-2) are in second place in the conference and have won eight of their last nine games. They have impressive wins over Rice and Arizona in the non-conference season. Porsha Roberts has been one of the top players in the league this year with 17.3 points, 9.5 rebounds and nearly 2.5 blocks per game. Taylor Ross runs the offense with 4.9 assists per game as well as 14.8 points per game. Tierany Henderson and Brentney Branch have combined to make 78 three-pointers this year.
Last year, the teams played once in Nacogdoches with the Lady Jacks winning 79-59. Roberts and Ross each scored in double figures in that game.
