The Red Raiders (7-0) easily won the first set, but the Cardinals (1-7) made it tough on the home team over the final two sets.  In the second set, UIW jumped out to a 9-4 lead and still held a 16-13 lead before the Red Raiders started to come back.  TTU tied the match at 16-16 after three straight attack errors by the Cardinals.  UIW reclaimed the lead at 17-16, but that was the last time as the Red Raiders scored nine of the final 11 points.
