2014 (Junior):  Brooks made 23 starts and played in 27 games.  She led the team with 488 assists and had double digit assists in 21 of the first 22 matches of the season.  She had at least 20 assists in nine matches and posted nine double-doubles.  She had a season high 35 assists and 10 digs at McNeese State.  She tallied 27 assists in a three-set match against Gardner-Webb.  She came up with a season high 14 digs at Grand Canyon.  She was named to the Southland Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Previous:  Brooks played at Northwestern State in 2012 appearing in 15 matches while making one start.  She recorded 12 assists and 27 digs during her time on the court for a 20-13 squad.  She transferred to Tyler Junior College the next season and led the team to an NJCAA DI Runner-Up finish.  She earned all-district, all-district tournament team and NJCAA National all-tournament team honors.  She averaged 10.15 assists and 2.25 digs per set for the Lady Apaches while making 45 blocks.

High School:  Brooks was on the track and volleyball teams at Fort Bend Austin High School.  She was a three-time District 23-5A All-District selection and was named the most outstanding setter in 2010 and 2011.  She took home the Memorial Herman Houston Area Athlete of the Week award and the Houston Chronicle Female Athlete of the Week award in 2011.  She also led her team to a trio of playoff appearances.

Personal:  Brooks is the daughter of Darrel and Kathie Brooks and is studying communication arts.  She has two sisters, Michelle and Lindsay.  She was born on December 19, 1993.  Her father played baseball at Blinn College and her mother was on the track team at Texas A&M.  Her sister, Michelle, played soccer at Manhattan Christian College and her sister, Lindsay, was on the volleyball and track teams at McNeese State.  She is a member of the UIW Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
