EDINBURG, TEXAS – The University of the Incarnate Word women's basketball team concludes their pre-Christmas schedule on Thursday at 7 p.m. at UT-Pan American.

The Cardinals (3-6) are looking for their second road victory of the season after starting the year with a win at University of Houston.  They are averaging 55.8 points per game on offense and allowing 66.7 points per game on defense.  Aricka Adams (Round Rock/Round Rock HS) leads the team with 13.6 points per game and is shooting 44.0 percent from the field.  Yvonne Maosa (Mansfield/Mansfield HS) is averaging 8.3 rebounds per game and has pulled down at least 10 boards in four of the last five games.

UT-Pan American is currently 6-6 on the season, but they have lost their last three games.  They are averaging 63.6 points per game and allowing 62.8 per game.  Shawnte' Goff is the team's leading scorer with 15.9 points per game.  Brittany Bush is the top rebounder with 6.0 per game and she has 18 blocks.  T'Ondria Nolen is dishing out 4.0 assists per game.

The Cardinals are 0-3 all-time against the Broncs.  The last time the two teams played was January 27, 2004 in Edinburg with the Broncs winning 63-46.
