AUSTIN, TEXAS - The University of the Incarnate Word baseball team travels to St. Edward's on Tuesday for a 2 p.m. game, the final non-conference game of the season.

The UIW pitching staff has a 4.65 earned run average and has struck out 310 batters.
Alexis Garza (McAllen/McAllen HS) has been the team's top starter with a 6-0 record and a 2.59 ERA. Freshman
Geno Encina (San Antonio/Brandeis HS) has been used in a variety of roles and has a 7-5 record with one save and a 3.53 ERA.
The Hilltoppers (29-14) have won two of the first three meetings with the Cardinals this year, but lost their last two games over the weekend to St. Mary's. They are hitting .301 as a team and have a 2.91 ERA. Brandon Easterling is the team's top pitcher with an 8-3 record and a 2.25 ERA in 84.0 innings.
