CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS - The University of the Incarnate Word volleyball team travels to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi for a Southland Conference match on Thursday at 7 p.m. The Cardinals will then travel to Houston Baptist University, to battle against the Huskies on Saturday at 1 p.m.
The Islanders (8-7 overall, 3-1 SLC) just took out the Lamar Cardinals in five sets last week. The Islanders boast an excellent setter in Logen Bourque who is averaging 10.31 assists per set. The does not have a lot of blocks, but do well on the back line with 15.50 digs per set. UIW is 1-1 all-time against the Islanders.
