2012 (Junior):  Suarez was the team's top setter starting every match of the season.  She reached double figures in assists in all 31 matches and posted 10 double-doubles for the year.  She reached 30 assists in three different matches including 35 assists and 17 dis in a five-set win at Eastern New Mexico.  She had 26 assists and 20 digs in a four-set win at Midwestern State.  She averaged 5.56 assists and 2.42 digs per set for the season and served up 24 aces against only nine service errors.  She directed the offense to a .300 attack percentage in wins over Southeastern Oklahoma and Eastern New Mexico.  She earned Lone Star Conference Honorable Mention and LSC All-Academic Team honors.  She was named to the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll and took home the D2ADA Academic Achievement Award.  She was named the LSC Setter of the Week on September 25.

2011 (Sophomore):  Suarez led the Cardinals with 584 assists on the season and also contributed 2.24 digs per set.  She was named to the LSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.  She started the final 27 matches of the season and had at least 20 assists in 19 matches, including the final 10 of the season.  She posted 11 double-doubles on the year and had a 20-20 performance in a five-set loss at Midwestern State with 28 assists and 24 digs.  She had a season high 33 assists and 11 digs in a five-set win over Texas Woman’s.  Her 32 assists and 16 digs led the team to a four-set victory over Eastern New Mexico.  She was named the LSC Setter of the Week on September 20 and 27 after leading the team to a 5-1 record over that stretch.

2010 (Freshman):  Suarez averaged 5.32 assists per set and led the team with 468 assists.  She played all 88 sets of the season and reached double digits in assists in all but one match.  She accumulated nine double-double on the season, including a 25-assist, 17-dig performance in a five-set win at St. Edward’s.  She had a season-high 30 assists in a four-set loss at Texas Woman’s.  She dished out 23 assists and served up four aces in a win over A&M-International.  She had 19 aces on the season and served only six errors in 326 chances.

High School:  Suarez was a member of the volleyball, basketball, softball and cross country teams at Antonian Prep.  She led them to a state championship in volleyball and earned first team all-state honors.  She was named the district’s Freshman of the Year and was a two-time Setter of the Year.

Personal:  Suarez is the daughter of Michael and Patricia Suarez and is studying rehabilitative science.  She has a sister, Michelle, and a brother, Carlos.  She was born on April 30, 1991.
