She won her first four games including a no-hitter and for her efforts Briana Sanchez is the first Lone Star Conference South Division pitcher of the week.
This was the first time this spring for the league to honor individual players and Sanchez was almost untouchable. She started four games. She pitched four complete games. She won all four including the no-no against Our Lady of the Lake on February 12.
Her statistics for the four games included an earned run average of 0.54 and an average 9.75 strikeouts for each seven innings she pitched. The opponents' batting average was just .144.
