Biography
2011 (Freshman): Smajstrla played sparingly for the Cardinals in her freshman season. She appeared in eight matches and had five kills and five digs. She was named to the LSC Comissioner's Honor Roll.
High School: Smajstrla earned first team all-district honors at New Braunfels High School. She also played soccer and basketball.
Personal: Smajstrla is the daughter of Scott and Jill Smajstrla and is studying nursing. She has a brother, Ryan, and a sister, Emily, and was born on September 21, 1992. Her mother played volleyball at Mary Hardin-Baylor and her father played baseball at Mary Hardin-Baylor. She is a member of YoungLife.
