Biography
MACC (2016-2018): Played in all 33 games throughout her sophomore season after starting 19 games as a freshman. Henry finished her career at MACC with 399 points and 366 rebounds, helping her team out-rebound 54 of 64 opponents over two seasons. She averaged 10 points and 7.5 rebounds during the 2018 NJCAA Regional Tournament, helping MACC finish third in the NJCAA National Tournament, with a 32-1 overall record. Henry signed with UIW Women’s basketball with her twin sister, Alexis, on May 3, 2018.
High School: A 2nd Team All-District selection, Henry recorded 27 points and 13 rebounds in a single game during her senior season. She was a multi-sport athlete, lettering in volleyball and track & field as well as basketball. She was a four time State 2A high jump champion.
Personal: A native of Springfield, Ill. is the daughter of Kerry and Winston Henry. She has an older brother, Jalen, and a twin sister, Alexis, who also plays for UIW. Henry’s mother played basketball at Illinois and her brother played at SIU-Edwardsville (2014-18). Lunden is younger than her twin sister by two minutes. She is majoring in Business/Marketing and dreams of owning her own fashion business after graduating. She chose UIW because, “I got offered a scholarship to play basketball with my sister.”
