University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2017 (Freshman): Took advantage of her time on the court as a freshman, getting a kill in her only appearance, against Stephen F. Austin. 

High School:  Stewart was a team captain and named MVP during senior season at All Saints' Episcopal School. She was named Blocker of the Year as a junior and Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore, while also earning Second Team All-District honors.

Stewart was a member of the National Society of High School Scholars, the National Academy of Future Scientists and Technologists, the Social Justice Club and voted Student Ambassador of the Year. She was co-founder of the Diversity Club and President of Student Council Admissions, while maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA all four years of high school. Strewart was also nominated for numerous conferences and retreats, including People to People World Leadership Conference (UCLA nominated), National Youth Leadership Forum (Business Innovation nominated), Ambassador Leaders (Yale nominated), Ambassador Leaders (George Washington nominated), Leadership Summit (Harvard nominate), National Student Leadership Conference, People to People Student Abroad (Australia nominated) and National Youth Leadership Forum (Medicine nominated).

Personal:  Daughter of Kimani and Angela, Imani has a twin brother, Alex. She hopes to develop her skills and knowledge at UIW so that she can impact the world. Stewart was born on April 19, 1999 in Fort Worth, Texas.
