University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2017 (Sophomore): Played in six matches during her sophomore campaign, seeing action in 12 total sets. Waller finished the year with seven kills, three blocks, two digs and an assist in her second season at UIW. Her three kills against Quinnipiac stands as as her season-high.

2016 (Freshman): Waller saw action in 29 matches and 108 sets, making nine starts over her freshman campaign. She finished with 153 kills, 68 blocks, 30 digs and eight service aces. Waller set a season-high with 14 kills against both Prairie View A&M and Lamar. She recorded a season-high seven blocks against Sam Houston.

High School: Waller earned First Team All-District honors while at Cypress Falls High School and was the third-best hitter in Cypress-Fairbanks I.S.D. She spent five years with the Willowbrook Sports Club, while also serving as a member of Student Class Council and the National Honor Society. Waller was a recipient of the prestigious United States Navy Athlete Award.

Personal:  The daughter of Kevin and Lisa Waller, Emily has one sibling, Shelby. A Rehabilitative Science major and Psychology minor, she hopes to become a physical therapist for injured athletes. Waller was born on January 26, 1998, in Houston.
