2012 (Junior):  Soukup started 23 matches on the season, including the final 20.  She was named to the Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll and earned the D2ADA Academic Achievement Award.  She had a solid all-around year finishing third on the team in digs (273) and fourth in kills (184).  She had five double-doubles during the season including a 13-kill, 19-dig performance in a five-set win at Eastern New Mexico.  She had nine kills and a season high 22 digs in a five-set loss at Tarleton State.  She posted a season best .421 attack percentage and had four blocks in a straight set victory at home against Eastern New Mexico.  She reached double figures in kills six times over the final month of the season.

2011 (Sophomore):  Soukup had a solid all-around season posting significant contributions on offense and defense.  She had a season-high 17 kills and chipped in 13 digs in a win over Texas A&M-Commerce.  She had 11 kills without an attack error in a win over Nova Southeastern.  She posted a double-double with 13 kills, 11 digs and a .407 attack in a win over Abilene Christian.  She picked up a season high 19 digs in a win over Texas Woman’s.  She served up five aces in a five-set loss at Texas A&M-Kingsville.  She was named to the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2010 (Freshman):  Soukup started the final 18 matches of her first season at UIW.  She averaged 2.16 kills and 2.57 digs per set for the season.  Every time she had at least 10 kills in a match she also had at least 10 digs.  She pounded 15 kills, had 13 digs and posted a .333 attack in a sweep at A&M-Commerce.  She had 10 kills, 11 assists and a .350 attack in a win over Southeastern Oklahoma.

High School:  Soukup starred at O’Connor High School in San Antonio.  She earned first team all-district and all-City and was named to the Super Team.  She was tabbed an AAU All-American.

Personal:  Soukup is the daughter of Steve and Debra Soukup and is studying nursing.  She has four older siblings; Joey, Amy, Sara and Katie.  She was born on February 15, 1992 and has been on the UIW Dean’s List every semester.
