University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2015 (Sophomore): Blagowsky played in 21 matches in her second season with the team. The Defensive Specialist ended the season averaging 0.22 digs per set and she also had three aces. Against New Orleans, Blagowsky registered two assists and two digs, which were both season highs.  

2014 (Freshman): Blagowsky played in 25 matches in her first season. In three sets, she racked up a season high five digs against Abilene Christian. Blagowsky started against New Jersey Institute of Technology and served up four aces.  She was named to the Southland Commissioner's Honor Roll and was on the Dean's List both semesters.

High School:  Blagowsky was a member of the volleyball and track teams at Plano East Senior High School.  She was a two-time second team all-district selection.  She was Plano East's Outstanding Senior Female Athlete and was named the team's best defensive player as a senior.  She was named the Murphy Monitor Player of the Week on Sep. 5, 2013 and Oct. 3, 2013.  In track, she was the district champion in the discus earning third in the area meet and sixth in the Region meet.  She was the Baylor Elite Volleyball Camp Top Defensive Player in 2012 and played for the Victory VBC club team and also the Mad Frog club team.  She was a member of the National Honor Society and has helped lead a volleyball summer camp to Nairobi, Kenya in 2013.  She also served as a student volunteer coach at Otto Middle School in the Fall of 2013.

Personal:  Blagowsky is the daughter of Shawn and Brett Blagowsky and is studying interdisciplinary studies.  She has a brother, Josh.  She was born on January 11, 1996.  Her father was on the track team at Southwestern Oklahoma State.  She is a member of CARE.
