University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2011 (Sophomore):  Smith appeared in 13 games and received a pair of starts, but did not score.  She was named to the LSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2010 (Freshman):  During her freshman campaign Smith played in 17 of 18 games coming off the bench in all but one.  She was a key defensive contributor as part of a group that posted a 1.37 GAA.  She assisted on the game-winning goal against Eastern New Mexico for her first career point.  She also assisted on the team’s lone goal in the Lone Star Conference Tournament against Central Oklahoma.

High School: Smith played soccer at Las Cruces High School in New Mexico.  She was also a member of the basketball and track teams.

Personal:  Smith is the daughter of Kerry and Anne Smith and is studying rehabilitative sciences.  Her sister Ashley played soccer at Washington State, her sister Mallory played at Incarnate Word and her brother Eric played at West Texas A&M.  She has another sister, Ashley Lara, and was born on December 13, 1991.  She volunteers at a local clinic for children with autism and is a member of The Fire.
