Andy Tunnicliffe joined the UIW women's soccer program as a volunteer assistant in April of 2017. He participates in the planning and execution of training sessions.
Tunnicliffe comes to UIW after working as the Football Recruitment Officer for the Everton Football Club in the English Premier League.
Prior to that, he was the head women's soccer coach at Huston-Tillotson University, where he led the team to their first tournament appearance in 2013, then repeated in 2014. He was named Red River Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 2015.
Tunnicliffe worked in Austin from 2009-12, first as the Director of Coaching for Lonestar Soccer Club, then as a volunteer assistant for the St. Edward's women's soccer program.
A native of England, Tunnicliffe earned his B.S. in sports studies - and graduated with honors - at Staffordshire University, then received his M.S. in skill acquisition at Liverpool Hope University.
