Biography

2011 (Freshman):  Carrizales earned all-Lone Star Conference Second Team honors as a forward in her freshman campaign.  She finished tied for second on the team in goals and third in scoring.  She did not play until the third game of the season, but then started 13 of the final 14 games.  She scored her first career goal at #12 Abilene Christian to tie the game late in the second half.  She knocked in a header against Texas Woman’s to tie the game in the 82nd minute and the team would go on to win.  She notched a pair of goals in the first 11 minutes in a 3-0 win against Texas A&M-Commerce.  Her only assist of the season came in a 2-1 overtime loss to West Texas A&M.  Injuries forced her to start three games in goal for the team.  She went 0-2 during that stretch with a 1.60 GAA and eight saves.

High School:  Carrizales was a two-time first team all-district performer at Georgetown High School.  She earned all-region honors during her junior season.  She led her team to the playoffs for the first time in seven years as a senior.  She also played basketball and volleyball.

Personal:  Carrizales is the daughter of Juan and Alisandra Carrizales and is studying chemistry.  She has two brothers, Juan and Alex Carrizales.  Her favorite player is Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez.
