Biography
2017 (Junior): Appeared in two games.
2016 (Sophomore): Played in 14 matches with one start. Scored a goal and added two assists for four points. Had 10 shots.
High School: Amaya was a four-year letterwinner in soccer at Brandeis High School. She holds the school record for career goals and scored seven goals in an Area playoff game. She earned All-State, all-district and all-Area honors as a junior. She tallied 16 goals and seven assists as a sophomore and upped that number to 26 goals and 10 assists as a junior. She finished her senior year with 25 goals and 15 assists and was a first team all-region player while leading her team to a third district title in four years. She played for the Lonestar Soccer Club 97G Red and helped the team to a pair of Premier League West championships. She was a member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Amaya is the daughter of Alex and Crissa Amaya and is studying nursing. She has a sister, Gabriella who plays soccer at Our Lady of the Lake, and a brother, Andrew. She was born on March 8, 1997.
