2021-22 (Junior): Gardner finished the season second on the team for points per game (8.8) and rebounds (4.5).... As the sixth man, she put up double figures in 12 games for the Cardinals... She came up huge in the Southland Conference Tournament with 22 points and 12 rebounds against Southeastern Louisiana in the Championship game to earn SLC Player of the Tournament.  

2020-21 (SOPHOMORE): Played in 11 games … averaged 4.5 points per game … averaged 0.6 steals per game … GAME HIGHLIGHTS: Led UIW with 12 points (a season-best), one steal, and three rebounds against Houston Baptist (March 3) … recorded a season-high six rebounds against SFA (Jan. 16).

PRIOR TO UIW: Gardner, an Austin native, joins UIW after a season with Temple College. The 6-0 forward appeared in 30 games and averaged 13.4 points, 7.1 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 1.1 blocks while shooting 54.7 percent from the field. She helped lead the Leopards to a record of 19-11 and 9-7 in conference play during the 2019-20 season.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Gardner racked up 1,000 points in 63 games while playing at Stephen F. Austin HS. A captain of her team she earned Academic All-District, made the Bastrop All-Tournament Team and was awarded with MVP at the Hays Tournament. As a junior she was named All-District while her sophomore year she made First Team All-District, TABC All-Regional Team and earned Newcomer of the Year, while averaging 16 points and eight rebounds per game. Her freshman year she earned Team MVP as well as Georgetown Tournament MVP. As a student she was president of the Black Student Alliance, vice president of the National Honor Society, secretary for the Student Council, member of the Link Crew and Math Club, named to the A/B Honor Roll (junior and sophomore year), earned the African American Heritage Award (freshman) and was Student Council President (freshman).
