University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2013-14 (Freshman): Leinnweber started in 14 games this season. She helped keep the Cardinals in the games by finishing 40-of-58 free-throws and averaged 4.5 points per game. She Leinneweber earned the most rebounds in the games against Texas Wesleyan (5) and St. Thomas (8) at home.

High School:  Leinneweber played basketball at Floresville High School.  She led the Jaguars to a 27-10 record and a District 29-4A title as a senior.  The team advanced to the Region IV semifinals for a second straight year.  As a senior, she was named the District 29-4A Most Valuable Player and earned Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) Class 4A First Team All-State honors.  She averaged 8.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game.  She was selected to play in the TGCA All-Star game.  She was a second team all-district choice as a sophomore and junior and was the District 29-4A Newcomer of the Year as a freshman. 

Personal:  Leinneweber is the daughter of Gary and Kristy Leinneweber and is studying rehabilitative science.  She played for former UIW basketball player Terri Twilligear at Floresville.
