2012-13 (Junior):  Whitehead was an efficient scorer for the Cardinals and finished as the second leading scorer despite playing only 18.7 minutes per game.  She reached double figures in 15 games and just missed a double-double against Texas A&M-Commerce when she had 17 points and nine rebounds.  She exploded for a season high 24 points on 7-of-12 shooting from the field and a 10-for-11 performance at the foul line against Texas A&M-International.  She led the team with a 48.1 percent field goal rate and was one of five regulars to shoot at least 75 percent from the foul line.  She put together a stretch of five consecutive games against conference opponents where she scored in double figures.  She also showed a nice shooting touch from outside making 6-of-17 three-point attempts for the year.

2011-12 (Sophomore):  Whitehead appeared in 28 games and made three starts for the Cardinals.  She contributed 4.8 points and 2.1 rebounds per game and a low post scoring threat.  She scored 13 points in 14 minutes in a win over Texas A&M-Commerce.  She had 12 points in 14 minutes off the bench against Texas Woman's in the regular season finale.  She added 11 points in 11 minutes in the first round of the Lone Star Conference Tournament against Midwestern State.

2010-11 (Freshman):  Whitehead was the team's fourth-leading scorer averaging 7.8 points and 3.4 rebounds per game in just 17 minutes of action.  She poured in 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds against Texas A&M-Commerce.  She was a perfect 5-for-5 from the field scoring 12 points in 13 minutes against West Texas A&M.  She added 16 points and eight rebounds against Tarleton State.  She scored in double figures in eight games.

High School:  Whitehead played basketball and volleyball at Grapevine High School.  She earned second team all-district honors as sophomore and first team honors as a junior and a senior.  She was the district MVP as a senior and finished her career second all-time in school history in rebounding and first in scoring.  She led the team to a bi-district championship as a junior and the most wins in school history.  She was a three-time academic all-district selection.

Personal:  Whitehead is the daughter of Tim Whitehead and is studying communications with a minor in business management.  She has a brother, Austin, and was born on March 5, 1992.
