2021-2022: Krause played for White Wings Hanau a team in the Germany-Pro B league in which he averaged 11.8 points, 4 rebounds, 3.6 assits, and 1.9 steals per game.

2019-2021:  Krause played two seasons for Team Südhessen which is located in Weiterstadt, Germnay. In his last season he averaged 22 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 3 steals per game.

2018-2019 (High School): Hailing all the way from Hochheim Am Main, Germany, Krause had a great but short high school career at Billings Central Catholic High School located in Montana. Helped Billings to a Class A State Championship in 2019, Earning him Eastern A All-Conference Honorable Mention. Krause was also named Academic All-State. Krause was a multi sport athlete earning All-State honors in Cross Country at Billings Central.  

Personal: Son of Frank and Claudia Krause.... Has a brother named Sebastian, one half sister named Liv, and two step sisters named Alina and Marta... Niki is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration. 

Coach Cunningham says: "We're pumped to welcome Niki Krause back to the USA from Germany. He's shown his lecture-hall prowess and hoops acumen in America before, when he spent a year in Montana, playing for Billings Central Catholic. There, as a sophomore, he won a Montana state basketball championship. Since then, in Germany, he's continued to develop his dynamic game, which features sophisticated passing in the pick & roll, and he's continued to stretch out. He now stands at 6'6. We're eager to get him to campus," said head coach Dr. Carson Cunningham.
