Biography

High School: Ray was a decorated high school athlete, winning team offensive MVP during her senior season (2017-18). During that year, she averaged 12.7 points on 38 percent shooting (36 percent from three), 2.4 assists and 2.3 steals per game. She was awarded 1st Team All-Region her junior and senior years (2017/2018) and All-District all four years of her high school career. She was also named Academic All-State her senior year.

Personal: A Houston native, Ray is the daughter of Gary and Vickie Ray. She is the youngest of four children, Corbin, Lexie and Holly. She comes from a long line of college athletes. Her mother and older brother both played basketball at Texas Tech, while her sister, Lexie, played at Collin County JC. She is a nursing major and chose UIW because, "I love the family atmosphere and the small community."
