2012-13 (Junior):  Novak was a key member of an LSC Tournament team appearing in all 27 games and making 12 starts.  She scored in double figures four times, including a 13-point outburst at Abilene Christian that including four three-pointers.  She scored 11 points and grabbed a season high six rebounds and had four assists at Cameron.  She drained 26 three-pointers for the season connecting on 34.7 percent of her attempts.  She was named to the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll and earned the D2ADA Academic Achievement Award.

Previous:  Novak played for St. Joseph's College in Rensselaer, IN for three years serving as a team captain her final two seasons.  She was a three-time Academic All-GLVC selection.  She graduated summa cum laude from St. Joseph with a sports management degree.  She received the alumni associates scholar-athlete award.  She averaged 6.8 points and 4.2 rebounds per game as a senior, but her season was cut short due to an injury.  As a sophomore, she started all 27 games for the Pumas averaging 30 minutes a game and almost eight points and five rebounds a game.  She played in 26 games making seven starts as a red-shirt freshman averaging 4.5 points and 2.5 rebounds per game.  She red-shirted one season at Bradley before transferring to St. Joseph's.

High School:  Novak earned a total of seven varsity letters in basketball, volleyball and soccer at Lockport Township High School.  She averaged 14 points, six rebounds and four assists as a senior en route to earning first team all-conference and all-area honors.  She led LTHS to a regional championship as a junior.  She was an Illinois State Scholar.

Personal:  Novak is the daughter of Gerald and Kathleen Novak and is pursuing a Master's degree in sports management.  She has four siblings; Matt, Alyssa, Rachel and Anna.  She was born on May 2, 1990.  She earned her undergraduate degree in sports management from St. Joseph's.
