Biography
2023-24 (Senior): Wheeler came in as a floor leader for the Cardinals, handling the ball while only tallying three turnovers on the season with her nine minutes per game. She had a season-high nine points against Houston Christian.
2022-23 (Junior): Played in 17 games for the Cardinals...totaled 33 points with a season-high 11 points against Sul Ross State.
2021-22 (Sophomore): Started in 19 games with 27 appearances...had a career-high 12 points against Southeastern Louisiana.
2020-21 (Freshman): Played in four games and totaled three points.
HIGH SCHOOL: Wheeler attended Cedar Park High School. During her senior season, Wheeler averaged 8.7 points, 4.2 assists, 4 rebounds and 2.4 steals per game, while also earning Academic All-District and First Team All-District. She helped lead her team to a 33-4 overall record (12-0 district) that made it to the 5A Regional Final in 2020. As a junior she was named to District 17-5A First Team All-District as well as Academic all-district. Wheeler averaged 8.1 points, 6.7 assists, 3.8 steals and 3.2 rebounds per game during the 2018-19 season.
