Biography
Previous: Capestany played one year at Texas A&M-Kingsville before spending a year going to school at Palo Alto College. She played 22 games for the Javelinas in 2010-11 averaging 2.0 points in 9.0 minutes per game.
High School: Capestany was a 1,000-point scorer at Southside High School. She was the District Offensive MVP as a junior and a senior. She was the district champion in the 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash, 4x100-meter and 4x200-meter relays. She led Southside to a district title in both basketball and track.
Personal: Capestany is the daughter of Christine Capestany and Michael Rodriguez and is studying kinesiology. She has two siblings; Erin and Gabbie. She was born on November 9, 1991.
