Jamie Nash

Jamie Nash joined the University of the Incarnate Word women’s basketball program as an assistant coach in July 2013.

Nash joined the Cardinals after experiencing a very successful Division 1 playing career. She was a four year starter for The University of Nebraska-Omaha as point guard. Nash was ranked in the top 20 nationally all four years for steals and the top 10 for her final 2 years in assists. A member of the UNO 1,000-point club with 1,106 career points and holds the career records at UNO with 564 career assists, 361 career steals, as well as, numerous season records.

She graduated from UNO with honors as Cum Laude with a 3.66 GPA earning a Bachelors’ degree in General Studies Health Administration.  She was also honored as her academic department’s top graduating student.

Nash has spent the last two summers working as an instructor for the elite Point Guard College training camps. PGA is an intensive training camp for basketball players from all divisions.

Nash hails from Aurora, MO where she was a four year starter and stand out player for Aurora High School earning numerous local, district and state awards.
