2017-18 (Freshman @ St. Francis): Named to the Northeast Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll...Played in 29 of a possible 30 games...Averaged 4.0 points per game, good for second among freshmen on team...Second in team field goal percentage (45.3%)...reached double figures in points on four occasions, scoring season-high 12 against Morehead State (12/19/17). 

Prep: Carangelo helped Thomaston to four straight State Championship game appearances, ultimately winning two titles to cap off a decorated high school career. The six-footer ended her career as the leading scorer in school history with 1,588 points. The mark broke a previous 23-year old record set by Amy Matthews in 1994, who finished her tenure with 1578 points. Carangelo was named to the Connecticut High School Coaches Association Girls Basketball All-State team in both 2015-16 and 2016-17, and she also won HoopZone Player of the Year. Notably scored 30, 38 and 33 points in consecutive games, and was subsequently awarded Female Athlete of the Week honors from ‘The Zone’ in Connecticut on the week of January 16, 2017.
