2023-24 (Senior): Played in 28 games with nine starts in her senior season. She had a season-high 11 points and seven rebounds against St.Edward's University.Â
2022-23 (Junior): Played in 29 games while starting 28...averaged 6.4 points per game and 3.4 rebounds... had a career-high 16 points against Northwestern State and six rebounds against Southeastern Louisiana...Perez averaged 25.2 minutes per game.Â
2021-22 (Sophomore): Appeared in 24 games for the Cardinals...had five blocks on the season...averaged three rebounds per contest.Â
2020-21 (Freshman): Played and started in 13 games … averaged 21.5 minutes per game …averaged 3.8 points per game … notched 3.2 rebounds per game … held a 61.9% field-goal percentage … GAME HIGHLIGHTS: Recorded a season/career-best 10 points and five rebounds against New Orleans (Feb. 13) … recorded a season-high four assists against TCU (Nov. 25).
HIGH SCHOOL:Â Perez attends Veterans Memorial High School. As a senior she averaged 10 points, eight rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. She helped lead her team to a 32-8 overall record (16-0 district) that made it all the way to the 5A State championship game in 2020. In 2018-19 she was part of an undefeated 27-4A District Champion that went on to be a 4A State Finalist team. She averaged 10 points per game while shooting 50 percent from the field. Â Over the course of her four years she racked up multiple awards including first team all-district, TABC all-region and All-State, TGCA all-academic and all-state, UIL 5A all-tournament, San Antonio Express News All-Area Super Team and Academic All-District.
