2017-2018 (Freshman): She appeared in 11 games for the Cardinals.
At Boswell: Hawthorne was a multi-sport athlete for Boswell High School, running track and playing both basketball and volleyball. She was named First Team All-District three years in a row, was the State Championship MVP as a junior and a McDonald’s All-American Nominee as a senior. Hawthorne won the Carl Lewis Leadership Award and was a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Personal: Hawthorne is from Forth Worth, Texas and is the daughter of Moritz and Nicole Hawthorne. Her father played football and her mother played basketball for fellow Southland Conference member Northwestern State. She has two siblings, Myles and Zoe.
