2023 (Redshirt Senior): Cassidy was the Cardinals’ go-to arm on Friday nights. He threw a season-high eight strikeouts at Northwestern State and finished the season with a 3-3 record through 74.1 innings pitched for a 4.72 ERA. Selected to the SLC All-Academic Second Team. 

2022 (Redshirt Junior): Appeared in 13 games for the Cardinals with eight starts... struck out 37 batters through 28 innings pitched...allowed 29 earned runs and held his opponents to a .277 batting average. 

2021 (Redshirt Sophomore): Went 2-3 in 11 appearances and six starts on the mound…pitched in 44.2 innings…third in the team with a 4.23 ERA…allowed 21 runs while striking out 32 batters…held opponents to .266 batting average…SLC Commissioner’s Honor Roll recipient.

Previous: Appeared in 26 games at Odessa JC…had a .323 batting average with 10 hits, one double and one triple…scored seven runs and had five RBIs…went 2-1 in 16 appearances and five starts on the mound…pitched in 27.1 innings with a 4.94 ERA…had 32 strikeouts and allowed 15 runs.

High School: Played at Burleson High School.

Personal: The son of Kevin and Kim Cassidy…has a younger brother, Kyndall…a business administration major…born February 29, 2000.
