2017-2018 (Freshman): Started 18 of the 22 games he appeared in ... played 24.1 minutes a game... scored 7.8 points per game and had 26 assists on the year... had a career-high 20 points against Lamar... scored 15 plus points a game on five occasions. 

High School: Hervey is a national three-star recruit from Scout.com. In his junior year, Hervey led his team to the second round of the 5A playoffs. Named the 2015-16 Austin American-Statesman Boys Player of the Year and All-Central Texas Basketball Team ... averaged 23.8 points and 8.3 rebounds per game that season... was District MVP as a junior, highlighted by a career-high 44 points against San Antonio East Central. 

Personal: Son of Carl and Patricia Hervey ... studying finance at UIW. He has one brother, Tristan. His dad ran track at Prairie View A&M, while his cousin, Sammy Hervey, played basketball at SMU. 

Coach Cunningham says: "Another stellar academic, Keaton in space on a basketball court presents the opportunity for some highlight reel action. He's rangy and springy and fast. He averaged eight points in his rookie campaign, and it's exciting to think about where he can take his game from freshman to sophomore year."
