University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2013-14 (Sophomore): Louwagie started in one game of the 11 played. He went .500 from the free-throw line this season. Louwagie went 2-for-2 in the contest against Texas A&M International.

2012-13 (Freshman):  Louwagie saw playing time in six games.  He was a perfect 4-for-4 from the foul line and had a steal in a win over Eastern New Mexico.

High School:  Louwagie was on the track and basketball teams at Claudia Taylor Johnson High School.  He earned all-district honors as a senior and led the team to a playoff appearance.  He graduated Summa Cum Laude and waas a National Hispanic Scholar.

Personal:  Louwagie is the son of Joe and Raquel Louwagie and is studying biology.  He has a brother, Jason and a sister, Andrea.  He has three cousins who played NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball.  He was born in Asuncion, Paraguay.  He was born on October 19, 1993.
