Biography
2021-2022 (Sophomore*): At Indian River State College, Cisse averaged 11.6 points, 3 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game. Scored a season high 22 points in the Pioneers last meeting against Miami Dade College, going 3 for 6 from the three and 5 of 6 from the free throw line. Cisse was all league in his lone season with the Pioneers and scored in double figures in 24 of the 33 games and helped the Pioneers reach the second round of the NJCAA Tournament. Â
2020-2021 (Sophomore): In his second season at LSUE, Cisse averaged 21.8 points, 4 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game, while shooting 47.5% from the field. 32.9% from the three point line, and 87.5% from the charity stripe. He had a great showing against Delgado Community College, where he poured in 24 points, pulled down 6 rebounds, had 2 assists, and collected 3 steals. That year Cisse was named 2020-2021 LABC Junior College Player of the Year and was named LCCAC Player of the Year recipient for a second time.
2019-2020 (Freshman): During his freshman year campaign at Louisiana State University Eunice, Cisse played in 25 games and started in 24 of the games as a true freshman. Averaged 15.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game. Cisse shot 46.4% for the field, 34.8% for the 3 point line, and 90.5% from the free throw line. Had a career high 33 points against Southern Arkansas University Tech, going 5 for 8 from the 3. Cisse was awarded the LCCAC Player of the Year as a true freshman.Â
2014-2018 (High School): Jonathan Cisse had an outstanding high school career under legendary coach Danny Broussard. As a senior at St. Thomas More he averaged 21 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.8 steals per game. On top of that he led the St. Thomas More Cougars to three straight trips to the state tournament, averaging double figures all three years. Cisse was a two time 4A All State selection, named 2018 Daily Advertises All-Acadiana Boys Basketball Most Valuable Player, was named the Louisiana Sports Writers Association class 4A Most Valuable Player for the 2017-2018 season, and selected to the American Family Insurance All-USA Louisiana Boys Basketball 1st team his senior year.Â
Personal: Raised by his mother Karen and has a little sister named Jazmine.... Cisse is earning his Bachelor’s in Sociology.Â

The past season he was all league and played great at the national junior college tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas. The season before, he was named Louisiana's junior college player of the year. And in high school at St. Thomas More in Lafayette, Louisiana, he thrived under legendary coach Danny Broussard. It's exciting to now be able to call Jon an Incarnate Word Cardinal."
