University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2013-14 (Freshman):  Baker played his first season after redshirting his freshman year. He saw the court for 24 games.  He was a backup on the front line for the Cardinals.  He poured in 11 points on 4-of-4 shooting from the field and grabbed seven rebounds in a win over Open Bible College.  He scored all but four of his season points during the non-conference schedule.  He shot 51.4 percent from the field and was 18-of-25 from the foul line for the season.  He was named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2012-13 (Red-Shirt): Baker red-shirted his freshman season at UIW. 

High School:  Baker averaged 18 points and 10 rebounds as a senior at East Central High School.  He earned first team all-district and all-region honors.  He led East Central to a district title.  He graduated Summa Cum Laude and earned the Academic Achievement Award for physics and anatomy.

Personal:  Baker is the son of Oscar and Brada Baker and is studying computer information systems with a minor in business.  He has a brother, Louis, and was born on June 7, 1994.  His father played basketball at Stillman College.
