Biography
2012-13 (Junior): Mora earned a number of postseason awards including Capital One Academic All-District VI First Team, D2ADA Academic Achievement Award and she was the Lone Star Conference Academic Player of the Year. She averaged 9.4 points and 5.2 rebounds per game while blocking 26 shots and swiping 46 steals. Mora was named the MVP of the St. Edward's Shootout after leading the team to a pair of victories while averaging 14.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 3.5 steals per game. She scored in double figures 12 times, including a season high 17 against Tarleton State when she was 13-of-15 from the foul line. She posted double-doubles at St. Mary's (12 points, 10 rebounds) and against Texas A&M-International (13 points, 10 rebounds). She had 16 points and five assists in a loss to Tarleton State in the first round of the LSC Tournament. She was named to the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
2011-12 (Sophomore): Mora was named Honorable Mention all-Lone Star Conference and to the LSC all-Academic Team. She helped lead the team to the LSC Tournament Championship game. She was one of four players on the team to average in double figures while pulling down 5.0 rebounds per game. She reached double figures in 17 of 29 games and made 25 starts. She had 16 points while going 4-of-5 from the field and 8-for-8 from the foul line against St. Mary's. She poured in 19 points in a win over Texas A&M-Kingsville. She scored a season high 21 points and had five steals against Tarleton State. She posted her only double-double of the season with 11 points and 13 rebounds at Texas Woman's. She was named to the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
2010-11 (Freshman): Mora earned Second Team all-Lone Star Conference South Division honors as a freshman. She finished her first season at Incarnate Word with 11.3 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. She led UIW in steals (47) and blocks (15) while finishing second in total points scored (283), points per game, total rebounds and offensive rebounding (57), while being the third-best passer on the team with 42 assists. Her field goal percentage from the floor was 40.2% and she was just under 66% from the free throw line. She earned an LSC South Division Defensive Player of the Week award during the season as well. She reached double figures in 18 games and posted four double-doubles during the season. She had 20 points and 12 rebounds at UT-Permian Basin. She had five steals, five blocks and seven rebounds at St. Mary's. She led the team with 20 points and eight rebounds while going 8-for-8 at the foul line against Midwestern State. She scored a season-high 21 points at Midwestern State.
High School: Mora was on the basketball and track teams at Arlington Bowie High School. She earned All-State, All-Region, first team all-district and District MVP honors as a senior. She was the district champion in the triple jump and earned Academic All-District honors. She led the basketball team to a district title. She graduated as the salutatorian.
Personal: Mora is the daughter of Chinwe Anyaegbunam and Olisa Mora and is studying biology/pre-med. She has four siblings; Obi, Kosy, Anthony and Chineze. She was born on September 17, 1991.
