University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2020-21 (Freshman): Appeared in 10 games with one start at No. 13 Texas Tech on Dec. 29…scored a career-high four points against Stephen F. Austin on Jan. 16…shot 37.5% from the floor (3-for-8), made one 3-pointer and grabbed five boards with four assists.
 
High School: A first team all-state selection as a senior…played four-years at Wilsonville High School...helped guide team to state championship tournament in three straight season from 2017-19, winning the state title in both 2017 and 2019...as a senior, led team to a 22-5 record, averaged 18 points and eight rebounds per game and reached the 5A state championship semifinals before the season ended due to COVID-19...helped team to four Northwest Oregon Conference Championship...a two-time conference player of the year in junior and senior year and 2019 first team All-Northwestern Oregon Conference player...a four-year academic honor roll recipient.

Personal: The son of Jason and Kimberly Reber of Milwaukie, Oregon....has one brother, Montana...major is undecided.
 
Coach Cunningham says: "I am delighted to welcome Dakota Reber, a fine academic who shoots the apple, plays with toughness and has more leap than February, to UIW. Dakota helped Wilsonville to three straight state championship games, winning twice in 2017 and 2019, and had his squad poised for a fourth title run when the tournament was halted due to COVID-19. It is awesome to welcome Dakota to the great state of Texas and storied UIW."
