2020-21 (Junior): Logged 271 minutes played in 17 games and six starts at the wing position in first season at UIW, helping UIW to its first Southland Conference Tournament berth in program history …shot 44.3% from the floor (267-for-61), 25.0% from 3-point range (6-for-24) and 53.6% from the foul line (15-for-28)…averaged 2.2 rebounds and 4.4 point per game…posted back-to-back season-highs with 10 points against McMurry on Dec. 31 and 11 points the next day, also against McMurry.
 
Previous: Played two seasons at Gillette College in Wyoming...helped the team to a 26-6 record, appearing in 31 games...averaged 14.8 points per game...had a 46.1 shooting percentage and averaged 6.1 rebounds per game (77 offense, 113 defense)...earned third team all-region accolades as a sophomore.
 
High School: Played at Stephen F. Austin High School under James Black...as a junior, helped guide team to the playoffs after an 18-year drought from attendance...earned first team all-district accolades.
 
Personal: The son of Emmanuel and Efe Akhile of Houston, Texas…has two siblings...a management information system major.
  
Coach Cunningham says: "Elated to welcome Bradley Akhile – A strong producer in the lecture hall with a rangy, versatile, sharp-shooting hoops game - to UIW. Bradley put in impressive work on the Texas basketball scene at Stephen F. Austin HS in Sugarland before spending the past two seasons as a key cog for Gillette College in Wyoming, including helping lead Gillette to a 26-6 record. UIW hoops is excited to being Bradley back home to Texas."
