2017: Played in all 11 games. He had 15 total tackles on the season (7 solo, 8 assisted). Colbert had two tackles for loss for four yards and 0.5 sacks for 2 yards. He also had one pass breakup and one pass defense.Â
2016: Played in eight games. He finished the season with eight solo tackles and six assisted for 14 total tackles. He had two tackles for a loss for eight yards. He also registered two sacks for eight yards. He had fumble recoveries against Texas A&M-Kingsville and McNeese.
2015 (Sophomore): Colbert was a consistent rotation player on the defensive line. He registered a tackle in nine consecutive games. He had a half tackle for loss at UTEP and he made three tackles with a half tackle for loss in the win over Northwestern State. He had three tackles and a quarterback hurry at Southeastern Louisiana.
2014 (Freshman): Colbert worked his way into the defensive line rotation appearing in eight games. He picked up a half sack against McNeese State. He made eight tackles in the final two games of the year. He had three stops against Sam Houston State and then recorded five tackles and a half sack at Lamar.
2013:Â Colbert red-shirted his first year at Incarnate Word.
High School: Colbert was on the football and track teams at Southwest High School. He was a three-time first team all-district player and led Southwest to a pair of district titles. He was named to the Dave Campbell's Texas Football Army Strong Team of the Week during his junior season. He played on the Team USA Under-19 football team in 2012 earning a silver medal at the IFAF World Championships. He was a regional qualifier in the shot put and was the district runner-up.Â
Personal: Colbert is the son of Lamonte and Ramona Colbert and studying business management. His brother, Trey, is also a member of the UIW football team. He has a sister, Tia. He was born on October 17, 1995.
