Biography

2015 (Junior):  Mason only played in five games, but started at right tackle in the season finale.  He was named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll and is working on his Master's degree.

2014 (Sophomore):  Mason was a valuable member of the offensive line unit playing 10 games and making three starts.  He appeared at both tackle positions on the line.  He was part of a group that only allowed three sacks in the final four games of the year despite the team throwing the ball 156 times.  He was named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2013 (Freshman):  Mason was a backup on the offensive line for the Cardinals.  He appeared in five games for a line that blocked for an offense that gained nearly 2,000 yards rushing and passing.

2012:  Mason red-shirted his first year at Incarnate Word.  He was named to the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.

High School:  Mason was on the football, basketball and track teams at Taft High School.  He earned honorable mention all-district honors and was named to the Academic All-State team.

Personal:  Mason is the son of Frank and Cynthia Mason and is studying government.  He has two siblings, Tia and Deja, and was born on June 14, 1994.  He earned his bachelor's degree in May of 2015 and earned cum laude honors.
